Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Lernizy for use of lernizy.com and everything on it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who can use Lernizy
Anyone can read our study material. If you are under 18, you may use Lernizy under the supervision of a parent, guardian or teacher, and you need their permission before creating an account. By creating an account you confirm that you have that permission, and that everything you tell us about yourself is true.
2. What Lernizy provides
NCERT solutions, sample papers, previous-year question papers, revision notes, printable worksheets, and an AI doubt-solver for CBSE students in Class 1-12. Core study material is free. We may add, change, or withdraw features at any time, and we try not to disrupt material students are relying on mid-session.
3. Accuracy, and what this is not
We work hard to keep solutions and explanations correct and aligned to the current CBSE and NCERT syllabus. Even so, study material - and AI-generated content in particular - can contain mistakes, and syllabus changes may not be reflected immediately.
Lernizy is a study aid. It is not a substitute for your textbook, your teacher, or official CBSE and NCERT material, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of CBSE or NCERT. Always check anything that matters - marks, dates, eligibility, exam patterns - against the official source before relying on it.
4. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to harm others, or has been inactive long enough that keeping it serves no purpose. You can close your account whenever you like - see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data then.
5. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Scrape, bulk-download, mirror or republish Lernizy's content, or use it to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission.
- Submit AI-generated answers as your own original work where your school forbids it. The doubt-solver is there to help you understand a problem, not to complete your assignments for you.
- Upload or ask for content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful to a child.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your age or affiliation.
- Probe, scan or interfere with the service or its security, attempt to reach areas you are not authorised to reach, or disrupt other users' access.
- Resell or commercially exploit any part of Lernizy without permission.
6. Intellectual property
NCERT textbooks and their contents belong to the National Council of Educational Research and Training. Where we link to, quote or embed official NCERT material, copyright stays with NCERT and we claim none of it. "CBSE" and "NCERT" are used descriptively to say which syllabus our material follows.
Original explanations, solutions, notes, worksheets, illustrations and the Lernizy name and design are ours. You may use them for your own study and print them for personal or classroom use. Anything beyond that needs our permission.
If you believe something on Lernizy infringes your copyright, write to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] identifying the work and the page, and we will take it down where the claim is made out.
7. Links to other sites
Some pages link to official notifications, NCERT downloads or news sources. Those sites are not ours, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Always confirm dates, eligibility and fees on the official notification before you act on them.
8. No warranty
Lernizy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that any particular material will remain available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lernizy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for exam results, missed deadlines, admission outcomes, lost data or lost opportunity arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law - including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Lernizy changes, and will revise the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be flagged on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Complaints about content or your use of the site can be sent to our Grievance Officer, appointed under the Information Technology Rules:
